Talent Advisor / Recruiter

Work Arrangement: Hybrid — requires on-site presence in the Wilmington office at least 3 days per week
Potential Path: Possibility of conversion to full-time employment within 6–9 months


Position Overview

Talent Acquisition is seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Recruiter to join our North America team. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR leaders across multiple locations, functions, and business lines to understand talent needs, define recruiting strategies, and attract highly qualified candidates. The Talent Advisor is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, providing strategic insights, and influencing hiring decisions through strong market knowledge and advisory skills.

Key Responsibilities

Hiring Partner Collaboration

  • Conduct thorough intake sessions with hiring managers to understand role requirements, key competencies, and hiring timelines.

  • Consult with managers on best practices related to candidate selection, workforce planning, and market conditions.

  • Set and align expectations with hiring teams regarding process, timelines, and recruiting strategies.

Full-Cycle Recruitment

  • Develop and post compelling job descriptions that attract diverse, qualified talent.

  • Execute sourcing strategies—including social sourcing, passive outreach, AI-driven tools, and talent brand amplification.

  • Create effective pre-screening questions and thoroughly review resumes to identify top candidates.

  • Provide ongoing updates to hiring managers, HR business partners, and stakeholders throughout the recruitment cycle.

  • Utilize independent judgment in assessing qualifications, interviewing, and presenting candidates.

Candidate Pipeline & Experience

  • Build, nurture, and maintain a robust pipeline of candidates across key skill sets.

  • Ensure a positive experience by engaging candidates proactively and maintaining timely communication.

  • Leverage CRM and ATS tools to track candidates, maintain data hygiene, and strengthen the organizational talent brand.

Compliance & Process Excellence

  • Ensure adherence to all employment laws, legal guidelines, and internal policies.

  • Innovate and adapt to evolving recruitment needs within a dynamic business environment.

  • Demonstrate discretion, professionalism, and strong organizational skills in daily operations.


Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 5 years of experience recruiting exempt professionals.

  • Strong understanding of Applicant Tracking Systems.

  • Consulting mindset with the ability to challenge assumptions and offer alternative perspectives.

  • Proven experience with social sourcing, AI-enabled recruiting, and employer brand projection.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-change environment.

Preferred

  • Advanced degree in HR or related field.

  • Experience with Workday Recruit (ATS) and Phenom CRM.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
