Position Summary

Under direct supervision, this role is responsible for accelerating the receipt and processing of remittance data, preparing and processing checks for clearing in accordance with standard banking procedures, and preparing information for clients and service partners based on specified guidelines and instructions.

Attendance is critical for this role. A consistent commitment to the scheduled 20 hours per week is required.


Essential Job Functions

  • Receive, sort, prepare, and process remittances and invoice data

  • Open mail and extract paper invoices and payments

  • Sort and prepare batches for processing

  • Follow established corporate and departmental policies and procedures

  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency in processing tasks


Additional Responsibilities

  • Cross-train in other functional areas to maintain coverage in critical department operations (e.g., mail sorting, keying, reassociation, data entry)

  • Perform other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to read and follow written instructions

  • Strong eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity

  • Ability to operate general office equipment

  • Flexibility to work additional hours as needed

  • Ability to adapt to change and remain composed under pressure

  • Strong customer service mindset (internal and external customers)

  • Ability to meet production and accuracy standards within 90 days of completing training


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior lockbox, item processing, or related experience

  • 10-key proficiency

  • PC and keyboard experience
