Mechanical/Electrical/Controls Maintenance Position
We are in search of a talented and reliable experienced Industrial maintenance mechanic to join our maintenance department. In this position, your responsibility is to preserve the excellent condition and functionality of our business premises. Your duties will be to execute equipment repairs in a timely manner, complete preventive maintenance service, and assist in engineering project as needed. To excel in this position, you must be able to problem-solver with exceptional communication and organizations skills.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- AAS Degree Electrical Technology is preferred
- 2-5 years of experience as an industrial electrician and programming preferred
- Reading Electrical and Mechanical schematics, preform work from drawings, sketches or specifications.
- Understand a variety of controls and platforms, Programmable Logic Controls experience for foam cutting machines (CNC/VCC, Baumer, and Sitola).
- PC skills with basics of IP networking.
- Inspects, cleans, and lubricates motors
- Able to tear a machine down and put backup if equipment is moved.
- Ability to troubleshoot control circuits and wire 480-volt motors and equipment.
- Welding and metal fabrication is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- With this position you must be able to work independently and as well with a team. Long hours will be required when machines are down or moved to other locations.
- Maintain an established comprehensive P.M. schedule on assigned equipment using applications that track maintenance performance.
- Control the amount of down time by informing supervisors and production workers of routine preventative maintenance techniques. As well as monitoring environmental compliance and safety regulations.
- Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.
Physical Requirements: Position is physically demanding, strenuous, repetitive. Physical actions of climbing, bending, stooping, walking, lifting, and pulling.
