Controller – Manufacturing / Engineering Sector
A global manufacturing and engineering organization is seeking a Controller to join its U.S.-based leadership team. As Controller, you will oversee financial operations, lead reporting efforts, support audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial accuracy and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities

Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end general ledger closings and financial reporting

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow forecasts

Oversee implementation and refinement of internal controls and accounting procedures

Review and audit contracts, purchase orders, and financial vouchers

Support external audits and ensure timely regulatory and compliance reporting

Partner with project managers for accurate revenue recognition and monthly accruals

Conduct operational assessments to identify financial process improvement opportunities

Supervise and develop accounting staff, ensuring accuracy and policy adherence

Lead cash flow forecasting and financial planning activities
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)

Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and full-cycle accounting

Background in general ledger, job costing, accounts receivable/payable management, and financial consolidations

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Experience in a manufacturing or project-driven environment highly preferred
