Department: Finance / Human Resources
The Time and Attendance Clerk is responsible for providing transactional and process support within the Finance department, with a focus on attendance tracking and reporting. This role plays a key part in maintaining the integrity of the No Fault Point System and ensuring accurate timekeeping records. The position interacts with multiple departments and levels of leadership in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and analyze reports from HR systems such as Workday and Kronos.
- Track attendance, including light duty and adherence to attendance policies.
- Distribute and track disciplinary documentation.
- Maintain accurate records in databases and Excel spreadsheets.
- Electronically scan and file documents.
- Serve as a point of contact for team member attendance-related inquiries.
- Provide supervisors with required documentation for team changes.
- Liaise with HR to ensure information accuracy and compliance.
- Perform general clerical duties including filing and data entry.
Experience:
- 2–3 years of office experience, preferably in time and attendance roles.
- 1–3 years of experience using Kronos, Workday, and Excel.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other standard office software.
- Familiarity with HR systems such as Kronos and Workday.
- 10-key proficiency preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Self-directed, dependable, and able to work independently.
