The SSG Process Development team is looking to add a LCMS support chemist to the dynamic group.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate must have a fundamental understanding of the chemistry required to perform analytical testing on a wide variety of products using Chromatography and other Analytical techniques. These analyses will support the cutting edge development and manufacture of OLED materials. Applicant must be a self-starter capable of independent work in a quality controlled environment with high attention to detail. Principal responsibilities include reagent and sample preparation, sample/data analysis, report writing, instrument operation and maintenance.
Specific tasks include the following:
• Perform LCMS analysis of raw materials, in process and finished goods according to standard operating procedures.
• Prepare samples for analysis involving cleanliness and complex steps, analyze, interpret, and report results.
• Interface with technical collaborators to understand priorities, solve problems and communicate findings.
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting of analytical instruments.
• Work independently, organize and prioritize multiple projects, troubleshoot and solve problems with minimal supervision.
• Responsible for the safety of the team and others as well as the protection of the environment.
• Develop personally and professionally through work experience and by acquisition of new skills as determined by the expanding needs of the position.

• B.S. or M.S. degree in chemistry related field with
• Experience in analysis using LCMS and HPLC
• Ability to perform light duty work including lifting a minimum of 25 lbs.
