Job Overview

Join our team to facilitate human resource processes across business locations and address site-specific needs. This role involves employee relations, HRIS support, onboarding, benefits, administration, and record keeping. You will report to the Vice President of Human Resources and work on-site.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with HRIS and related applications.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel formulas and Microsoft Outlook.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support HRIS system and conduct new-employee orientations.
  • Handle employee terminations and record keeping.
  • Assist with OSHA tracking/reporting and update ADP Main Page.
  • Support the open enrollment process and recruitment efforts.
  • Monitor employee engagement and plan activities.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and assist with HR investigations.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5 years of HR experience in a dynamic environment.
  • Background in HRIS, Benefits, Employee Relations, and Administration.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to multitask.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and ADP.

Education

  • Associate or Bachelor degree in Human Resources or Business Management; or a minimum of 5 years field experience.

Additional Requirements

  • Full-time position based in Houston, Texas.
  • Minimal travel required.
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs and handle stressful situations professionally.
  • Valid driver's license and legal work authorization in the US.

Work Environment

Office environment with occasional shop visits. Exposure to moderate noise and metal particles may occur.
