Nesco Resource is in search of a Manufacturing Operations Manager to work one of our clients based in Bristol, CT. Our client is a close-knit, family-owned company looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Operations Manager to help us keep things running smoothly. This role is a mix of planning, problem-solving, and team leadership—perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in getting things done right.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all facility operations, including manufacturing process, production, quality, scheduling, supply chain and maintenance to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Direct Report: Production Floor Team Lead who manages up to five people running jobs/setting up machines
- Will work collaboratively with Materials Manager, Quality Manager and other departments.
- Determine job profitability.
- Input on capital procurement.
- Maintain 5S program.
- Position reports to the President; shares the maintenance of tooling list, obsolete parts and obsolete materials.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with at least 10 years of business/plant management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work from job orders, process sheets, blueprints, drawings, standards and specifications.
- Experience with semi-attended machinery/industrial equipment.
- Basic computer skills and CAD knowledge.
- Ability to communicate well with all levels of staff.
- Strong reading and math skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized.

- 1st shift, Onsite Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 3pm OR 7am – 3:30pm
- Salary range: $90K - 120K
