Primary Duties
- Assist in implementing and maintaining the quality system.
- Help establish procedures and verifications for quality functions.
- Report on the performance of the quality system, focusing on customer satisfaction and process stability.
- Participate in APQP functions and assist with Process Flow & PFMEA development.
- Communicate with customers regarding approvals, documentation, specifications, and standards.
- Manage Control Plans and associated Standard Work, providing timely updates as needed.
- Participate in site NPI activities and manage all associated PPAP requirements.
- Drive corrective and preventive actions for assigned customers or products.
- Implement and maintain SPC as required or requested by customers.
- Take ownership of the quality of parts you are responsible for, whether internal, external, or supplier-related.
- Conduct training sessions for employees engaged in quality or product-related activities.
- Participate in LPA or internal audit processes as assigned.
- Engage in ongoing continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain a professional and organized workspace.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Skills, Requirements, and Education Required
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience with drawings, technical gauging, and both statistical and non-statistical tools.
- Ability to judge product defects against aesthetic standards and determine acceptability.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with employees and management at all levels.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Be a leader and set an example for the quality team.
