Local Milford company is seeking Injection Molding Set-Up Operators on the 2nd shift. (4 pm to 12:30 am) These positions are temp to hire for the right person.
Responsibilities:
- High degree of finger dexterity and hand and eye coordination is required to perform a variety of production/assembly operations per Special Work Instructions (SWI), drawings, and related Job Order package instructions.
- Tasks will include such operations as (but not restricted to) the production of components, the building of all sub-assemblies, and packing.
- Responsible to get first piece article inspection and conduct in-process inspection while continually inspecting parts for visual defects to ensure quality of the product.
- Maintain records (work orders, move tickets, etc.) necessary for your work area. Also responsible for accurate recording of quantities produced, scrap, and time worked.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Observe any special requirements to maximize cleanliness and minimize debris in the work area.
- Familiar with running machinery.
- Set-up of injection mold machines
- Perform other duties as required.
