Job Summary
Join our team as a dependable professional to help run and maintain a gas processing unit that removes harmful gases from natural gas. This role focuses on safely operating equipment, monitoring plant systems, and keeping the facility running smoothly.
Job Duties
- Operate and monitor plant equipment used to clean natural gas
- Watch gauges, screens, and readings to ensure the plant is running correctly
- Make adjustments to equipment when needed
- Perform regular walk-throughs of the plant to check for leaks, issues, or safety concerns
- Assist with plant start-ups, shutdowns, and emergency situations
- Take samples and perform basic testing
- Keep accurate logs and reports during each shift
- Follow all safety rules and procedures
- Work closely with maintenance and supervisors to fix or report problems
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a plant, refinery, or gas processing facility preferred
- Basic understanding of plant operations or willingness to learn
- Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work safely around industrial equipment and wear required safety gear
- Valid driver’s license
