Quality Control Microbiology analysts perform a variety of microbiological responsibilities including but not limited, to clean room and utility monitoring as well as raw material, in-process, and product testing in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and cGMP/FDA regulation. This position will primarily be responsible for performing laboratory-based testing.

- Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
- On-site: Rensselaer
- Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline; may substitue relevant experience in lieu of degree
- Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries preferred

Microbiological qualification of consumables, reagents, and media.
- Sterilization of testing and sampling parts using an autoclave.
- Training of employees.
- Peer review of data.
- Maintaining laboratory supplies, media, and reagents as well as laboratory cleanliness
