Reputable industry leader in Saratoga County is looking for a Production Manager to help leads its day-to-day operations. This role would be responsible for overseeing daily production, scheduling and planning, overseeing quality and safety procedures, implementing and adhering to KPIs, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include:
- Manage daily production ensuring increased productivity and minimum downtime
- Ensure plant safety programs are implementing and followed
- Implement process improvements and lean manufacturing principles to ensure reduced waste across multiple product lines
- Staff management to include training and development and succession planning
- Working with Senior Management on budgeting, capital spending, and KPI’s
- Actively participate in cross functional teams including; Safety, Process Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field. Associates Degree with relevant experience will be considered
- 10 years of professional experience in a complex manufacturing environment
- 5 years of supervisory expertise; training and development
- Excellent communicative and organizational skills
- Experience utilizing an ERP and MS Office products
