Nesco Resource is in search of a Sr. Design Engineer to work one of our clients based in Danbury, CT.
JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. Design Engineer will be involved in the design, manufacture and product support for standard and custom products to meet their clients' applications. Responsible for interpreting the needs of prospective customers and determining if their requirement can be satisfied with existing (client) technology. Will be a liaison between the Technical Sales team and Product Design while providing appropriate information to the sales team for customer support and pricing.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have an engineering degree and experience with SolidWorks.
- At least 5 years of design experience and demonstrated hand-on skills, which are required when designing and developing new products and proof-of-concept testing.
- A strong technical aptitude and knowledge of both electrical and mechanical design.
- Be able to understand detailed product specifications, interpret calibration data and the theory of operation for company products.
- Direct hire with benefits
- 1st shift, Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm
- Salary range: $100 – 125K
- Must pass drug and background screenings
