Warehouse Associate – 1st Shift
Location: Cohoes, NY 12047
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour
Job Overview
Nesco Resource is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our Shipping & Receiving team. This is an entry-level position responsible for packing, organizing, and preparing orders for shipment. Key Responsibilities

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Prepare and pack customer orders according to ticket instructions with a high level of accuracy.

Properly identify and label boxes, packages, and products.

Prepare finished goods for delivery, including pallet wrapping.

Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications

1 year of warehouse experience required.

Proficient computer skills.

Basic knowledge of tools, machines, and warehouse systems.

Ability to perform basic math and measurement tasks.

Experience with bar code scanning systems preferred.

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with diverse teams.

Ability to read and write in English.

Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and organization skills.

Valid driver’s license or relevant certification.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/roll 300–800 lbs using a pallet jack.

Ability to stand for long periods and perform reaching, bending, twisting, and stretching as needed.

Good hand-eye coordination, depth perception, and ability to distinguish color differences.

Must pass all pre-employment screenings, including drug testing.
