Position Title: Powders Packaging – Stick Pack Operator

Position Overview:
The Powders Packaging – Stick Pack Operator is responsible for ensuring that all packaged goods meet company quality and quantity standards. This role works under the general supervision of the Production Manager and plays a key part in maintaining a safe, efficient, and compliant production environment.

Note: This is a safety-sensitive position, meaning the employee will operate, repair, maintain, or monitor machinery, equipment, or tools that may affect their own safety or the safety of others.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and hygiene procedures.

  • Properly gown and maintain cleanliness according to company standards.

  • Clean equipment, utensils, and rooms per approved procedures.

  • Accurately follow batch production records and verify calibration before each run.

  • Monitor product quality to ensure it meets specifications.

  • Remove and recheck products that fall outside of established specifications.

  • Use tabletop scales to confirm product weights and make adjustments as necessary.

  • Report any production or equipment issues to your supervisor or maintenance team immediately.

  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.

  • Maintain consistent, reliable, and punctual attendance.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with production setup and ensure processes run safely and efficiently.

  • Conduct periodic spot checks for product quality during runs.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.


Physical Requirements:

  • Stand and walk on hard surfaces for extended periods (up to 4 hours at a time).

  • Frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and reaching (including overhead).

  • Regular use of PPE such as ear plugs, gloves, lab coat, hair net, and face mask.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.


Education & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.

  • Previous manufacturing or packaging experience a plus.
