Position Overview

Are you ready to lead challenging architectural metal panel projects from inception to completion? Join our team and be the driving force behind ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed quality expectations. As the key point of contact for our esteemed clients, your role will be pivotal in coordinating across various departments to achieve exceptional client satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Lead and coordinate projects from contract award through closeout.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.

  • Manage change orders, cost updates, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Oversee submittals, RFIs, and contract documentation to ensure timely approvals and execution.

  • Maintain organized and accurate project records using approved systems.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as the primary liaison for customers, consultants, and internal departments.

  • Proactively communicate project status, risks, and milestones.

  • Build and sustain long-term client relationships through professionalism and reliability.

  • Lead coordination meetings with project stakeholders to ensure expectations and deliverables are aligned.

Internal Collaboration

  • Coordinate with Drafting and Engineering teams to review design details and production drawings.

  • Partner with Manufacturing and Logistics to plan production releases and delivery schedules.

  • Work with Accounting and Procurement to track costs, material orders, and profitability.

  • Collaborate with Estimating and Technical teams on design feasibility and constructability.

Financial & Contract Administration

  • Review contract terms and documentation for clarity, accuracy, and risk exposure.

  • Monitor project budgets, material costs, and labor expenditures to maintain financial performance.

  • Ensure billing milestones are met and coordinate invoicing with accounting.

Risk Management

  • Identify potential risks or issues early in the process and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Escalate significant project concerns with recommended resolutions.

  • Maintain balanced decision-making to protect both client relationships and company interests.

Process Improvement

  • Participate in internal initiatives to refine workflows and enhance project communication.

  • Provide constructive feedback to improve documentation, reporting tools, and standard operating procedures.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.

  • 5 years' experience in construction project management, preferably in metal panels, curtain wall, or fac ade systems preferred

  • Proven ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.

  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects with varying complexity and deadlines.

  • PMP certification or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Strong understanding of architectural cladding systems and modern construction practices.


Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong grasp of budgets, contracts, and cost drivers.

  • Capable of solving problems and making effective decisions under pressure.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).

  • Familiarity with project management and digital workflow platforms.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and new technologies.


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 20 lbs.

  • Primarily a seated position with some walking or standing required.

  • Requires close and distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
