Senior Manager, Marketing
Job Purpose
Strategically lead and manage North American initiatives, encompassing New Product Launches (NPL), Data Analytics, Respiratory Portfolio, and In-line Portfolio Management. Responsible for comprehensive strategic management and execution, advanced analytics, forecasting, lifecycle management, and operational excellence to achieve commercial success and sustainable growth.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
1. New Product Launch Management
- Lead pre-commercial activities for 12–15 annual product launches in the retail market.
- Develop SKU-based forecasts, prioritize launches, and communicate volume requirements to procurement for API and finished goods readiness.
- Create and execute market access and pricing strategies.
- Monitor product margins; recommend rationalization of low-margin launches.
- Collaborate with Sales, Pricing, and Supply Chain to meet target sales.
- Maintain post-launch NPL compliance and provide monthly business forecasts (LBE).
- Track supply plans, customer orders, allocations, and business opportunities
- Conduct primary and secondary market research to identify therapy, product, and device opportunities.
- Develop and update monthly dashboards for key respiratory products.
- Collect competitor intelligence on usage, pricing, and market trends.
- Monitor market dynamics — FDA approvals, competitor entries/exits, pricing shifts, and device updates.
- Attend Quarterly Results Meetings to capture competitor insights.
- Build business cases for in-licensing and M&A opportunities.
- Support due diligence and perform ad hoc financial and strategic analysis
- Lead omni-channel and digital marketing strategies (HCP, patient, payer).
- Drive patient-centric device strategies including naming, messaging, and packaging.
- Partner with agencies to execute launch campaigns and manage promotional material approvals.
- Support education, access, and channel strategies to drive uptake.
- Conduct weekly/monthly market tracking and LBE monitoring.
- Analyze supply plans, orders, and allocations for compliance and optimization.
- Develop competitive sales enablement tools and positioning materials.
- Manage pricing activities to balance market share growth and profit margins.
- Collaborate with National Accounts and Supply Chain on customer programs and overstock management.
- Support complex Non-Respiratory/Specialty products requiring advanced marketing strategies and customized go-to-market approaches.
- Build and maintain forecast models using research insights.
- Document and communicate forecast changes quarterly with supporting rationale.
- Partner with Supply Chain for effective launch planning.
- Incorporate 3rd party data to refine assumptions and projections.
- Develop new forecast shells for upcoming product filings.
- Maintain and update key dashboards:
- Weekly IQVIA Data (Power BI)
- Daily LBE Dashboards
- Market Intelligence (Usage & Pricing)
- Chargeback Data Updates
- NPL Pipeline Forecasts
- Contribute to budgeting and strategic planning exercises.
External:
- Forecasting and executing strategies in a competitive U.S. generics market with limited differentiation and customer consolidation.
- Managing multiple cross-functional projects and maintaining delivery timelines.
- Exposure to a fast-paced, agile organization offering career growth across marketing, analytics, and portfolio management.
Internal:
- Portfolio, CPM, IPD, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and Sales teams.
- Executive Leadership for product and forecast updates.

- Manage 10–15 launches/year contributing $50M annual revenue.
- Support U.S. Respiratory Franchise growth projected 3.5x in 3 years.
- Contribute to scaling revenue from $560M (FY2025) to $1B in 5 years.
Decisions:
- Approve product trade dress for new launches.
- Select vendors for promotional material and research initiatives.
- Pricing strategies and customer targeting for new products.
- Market share goals and forecasting updates.
- Marketing communications for HCPs, patients, and customers.
- Provide ongoing Latest Business Estimates (LBE).
Education:
- BA/BS required, MBA or PhD preferred.
- 7 years in marketing and sales (pharma/generics preferred).
- Proven success in launching generic products in retail.
- Strong background in respiratory therapy areas (Asthma, COPD, Allergy).
- Experience managing agencies, HUB services, and EHR/EMR platforms.
- Deep understanding of new product launch in generics.
- Strategic thinker with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative leader with influence without authority.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel (Macros), and Office 365.
- Results-oriented, self-starter with proven ability to execute.
