Electrical Engineer – Plant Maintenance

About the Role
We’re seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer to support and improve the reliability of plant electrical systems in a manufacturing environment. This is a facility-based maintenance engineering role (not external job sites) working alongside maintenance, production, and automation teams to minimize downtime and keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
-
Plant Electrical Systems: Support, maintain, and improve power distribution, control panels, and facility-wide electrical systems

Troubleshooting & Reliability: Diagnose failures and implement long-term solutions to reduce downtime

Maintenance Engineering Support: Partner with technicians to improve PM strategies and eliminate chronic issues

Controls & Automation: Support PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and control systems for production equipment

Upgrades & Retrofits: Assist with equipment modifications, panel upgrades, and new machinery integration

Documentation & Compliance: Maintain schematics and support NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA compliance

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with operations and leadership to improve safety and performance

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, safety, and system reliability
Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)

Experience: 3 years in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment

Technical Focus:
-
PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, control circuits

Motor controls & power distribution
-
Electrical troubleshooting in production settings

Software: AutoCAD Electrical or similar

On-site Requirement: Comfortable working on the plant floor

Location Requirement: Must be located in or able to commute to Tulsa, OK
Schedule & Work Environment

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Travel: Occasional between local facilities only

Environment: Office production floor

Requirements: PPE including steel-toe shoes, safety glasses, and hearing protection
