Will require 30 min in-person interview and 1 hour weld test at Port Manatee site. Must bring personal weld hood, steel toes work shoes for weld test. Safety glass and hearing protection will be provided as needed.

No 1st shift openings. Looking for 2nd shift primarily.
Can take a couple on 3rd shift. They will receive a *** shift premium for both of these off shifts on top of their base hourly wage.

Schedules:
2nd – 3pm to 11pm
3rd – 11pm to 7 am

As a Welder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our welding processes. You will be responsible for performing welding operations, interpreting blueprints and specifications, and maintaining a high standard of workmanship. Your expertise in welding techniques and attention to detail will be essential in meeting project requirements and ensuring the safety and reliability of our products.
You will report directly to our Welding Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Palmetto, FL location. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our welding operations, contributing to the success of our projects and the overall growth of our business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform welding operations using various techniques and equipment
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements
• Inspect and test welded joints to ensure they meet quality standards
• Maintain welding equipment and tools, and perform routine maintenance as needed
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

YOU MUST HAVE
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Welder
• Proficiency in various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and Stick
• Recent experience welding stainless steel and/or aluminum
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

VALUED
• Relevant certification or training in welding
• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Knowledge of welding codes and standards
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
