Position Summary
The Accountant supports the daily operations of the Accounting Department, with responsibilities including accounts payable (AP), payroll assistance, general ledger maintenance, fixed asset accounting, daily cash deposits, month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and ad hoc projects assigned by the CFO or Controller. This role aligns with the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
Qualifications

Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred

Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Performance Expectations

Perform monthly reconciliations and maintain the fixed asset accounting system

Support payroll, AP, and general ledger functions

Ensure accurate and timely completion of month-end close processes

Execute assigned special projects with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements

Ability to work 8-hour shifts or longer as needed

Capable of bending, stooping, squatting, and reaching overhead

Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs
