Well-established and reputable company located west of Albany is hiring for a Field Service Manager to join its team. This position will be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical equipment and overseeing instillation projects.
Job Title: Field Service Manager
Salary Range: $75,000 – $100,000
Position Summary:
The Field Service Manager is responsible for leading and supporting all aspects of technical service operations, including troubleshooting, customer support, and technician training. This role ensures high-quality service delivery by managing field diagnostics, service networks, and installation support for both internal and external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead product issue resolution from diagnostics to final resolution via phone, email, or in-person support
- Oversee product instillations
- Develop and train new technicians and mechanical staff
- Maintain detailed service logs and track resolutions, trends, and customer feedback
- Conduct on-site evaluations and assist with technical sales support as needed
- Collaborate with management on product improvements and field-based feedback
- Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
- Strong background troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Proven ability to lead, train, and support field personnel
- Customer-focused mindset with professionalism in all interactions
- Able to manage multiple projects and work independently
