Duties/Responsibilities
- Evaluates and identifies potential problems with machinery such as but not limited to temperature control units, extruders, cutters, pullers and rubber mills.
- Repair and maintain electrical/mechanical machinery including pneumatics and hydraulics.
- Visually and mechanically inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
- Detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
- Follow preventative maintenance schedules.
Skills/Qualifications
- 2 or more years of Industrial Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experienced with 480V, 3 phase electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and schematics.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Will be subject to a pre-employment screening.
