Machine Operator

The Machine Operator ensures the consistent production of high-quality concrete masonry units. Under the Plant Manager’s direction, they may assist and provide guidance to other employees in a non-supervisory role.

Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Inspect and operate machinery, forklifts, and loaders safely.
• Perform equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Monitor production startup, shutdown, and quality control.
• Maintain production records and follow schedules.
• Adjust equipment for consistent product quality.
• Perform mold changes, cleaning, and daily area maintenance.
• Report issues to management and prepare work areas for the next shift.
• Open/close facility as needed.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Knowledge of safety practices and equipment operation.
• Ability to use forklifts, loaders, and hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Work in various weather conditions on uneven terrain.
• Perform repetitive tasks in a high-paced environment.
