Our client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in improving manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and optimizing efficiency in production operations. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, troubleshoot production issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

In this role you will:

  • Identify, evaluate, and implement manufacturing process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and maintain product quality.
  • Provide technical support to the production floor, assisting in troubleshooting issues related to equipment, materials, and processes.
  • Lead and participate in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Monitor and assess manufacturing processes to ensure product quality standards are met. Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for any deviations or non-conformities.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Provide regular status updates and reports to management on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to ensure seamless integration of manufacturing processes with other areas of the business.

Ideally you will bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably within a high-tech or electronics equipment manufacturing environment involving chassis builds, harness wiring and PCB assembly
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including assembly, and electronics.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
  • Familiarity with ERP / MRP systems
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a hands-on approach to problem resolution.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus.
