- Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead a team of construction technicians.
- Monitor and execute projects according to plans, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Follow timelines and budgets, adjusting as necessary to stay on track.
- Perform sampling and testing of construction materials to verify quality standards are met.
- Coordinate and oversee the work of assigned technicians to maintain consistency and accuracy in quality control processes.
- Attend construction status meetings to stay updated on project progress.
- Address any issues that arise during the construction process and develop solutions to overcome challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Project Management Professional (PMP)) are a plus.
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field is required.
- Previous experience working on INDOT projects
- Strong familiarity with construction practices, materials, and safety protocols.
- Understanding of INDOT regulations and standards
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to effectively coordinate with project teams and contractors
