Job Summary:
We are looking for highly skilled and detail-oriented PCB Inspectors to join our quality control team. The ideal candidates will be IPC-certified and have experience working with printed circuit boards (PCBs). The PCB Inspectors will perform both incoming and final inspections to ensure that all products meet our high-quality standards. The role requires precision, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in using specialized inspection tools such as calipers, pin gauges, and microscopes.

Key Responsibilities:
Incoming Inspection (1 Position):

  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming PCB components to ensure compliance with specified standards and quality requirements.
  • Verify the accuracy and integrity of materials, ensuring that they meet all technical specifications before assembly.
  • Use calipers, pin gauges, and microscopes to measure and inspect PCB components and ensure their proper functionality.
  • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturing teams to address any issues with incoming materials or components.

Final Inspection (2 Positions):

  • Perform final inspection of assembled PCBs to verify that they meet design and quality standards.
  • Use inspection tools including calipers, pin gauges, and microscopes to check dimensions, soldering quality, and overall assembly integrity.
  • Inspect cable assemblies for proper wiring, soldering, and overall product quality.
  • Identify defects or non-conformities in products and collaborate with the production team to resolve issues.
  • Maintain detailed inspection records and report findings to management and relevant departments.
  • Ensure that final products meet customer specifications before shipment or delivery.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • IPC certification (Institute for Printed Circuits) is required.
  • Previous experience working with printed circuit boards (PCBs) and quality control processes in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in cable manufacturing and familiarity with PCB assembly is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools such as calipers, pin gauges, and microscopes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and inconsistencies in PCB components and assemblies.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions when quality issues arise.
