Systems Administrator
Are you ready to play a vital role in ensuring a secure, reliable, and efficient IT environment? As a Systems Administrator, you’ll be responsible for supporting our IT infrastructure, troubleshooting, enhancing systems, and empowering team members with top-tier technology support.
Key Responsibilities
Your work will make a big impact, and while duties may evolve, here’s how you’ll contribute:
- Security & Support: Install and monitor security programs, email filters, and internet filters, keeping our systems secure and user-friendly.
- Technology Integration: Seamlessly integrate new technologies into our data center and improve existing systems.
- ServiceNow Champion: Address ServiceNow incidents, handle requests, and drive projects forward to improve IT service quality.
- Maintenance Maven: Participate in both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring smooth operations, even outside of regular hours.
- Audits & Reporting: Perform system and software audits, using your findings to enhance system performance and security.
- Hardware & Software Setup: Keep our technology up-to-date by installing and configuring new or updated hardware and software.
- User Management: Manage user accounts, including creating, updating, and troubleshooting accounts and passwords.
- Application Support: Ensure O365 and other applications are optimized, troubleshooting and patching as needed.
- Technical Domain Expertise: Maintain our Active Directory and other technical domain services, ensuring smooth, secure operations.
- Vendor Collaboration: Work with external vendors and contractors, assigning tasks and tracking progress to ensure seamless service.
- Team Support: Provide hands-on technical support, acting as a resource for IT staff and other departments.
What You Bring
To excel in this role, you'll bring a unique combination of technical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and a passion for continuous improvement:
- Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with 4 years in IT support, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Expertise in Office 365, Active Directory, and project management.
- Abilities: Strategic thinking, multitasking, quick learning, and a commitment to quality. Excellent communication skills are a must.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and comfortably work in various environments, including office and occasional warehouse visits.
