Quality Technician:
Job Summary
:
The Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and customer requirements. This position involves reviewing customer orders for accuracy, validating product configurations, and ensuring regulatory and labeling compliance. The Quality Technician will also maintain data, and train operators on quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Review each customer order for correctness and compliance with product specifications.
  • Ensure products are built to the proper configuration for each order.
  • Review regulatory, generic, and order-specific labeling for accuracy.
  • Validate Bill of Materials (BOM) and routings through Work Orders.
  • Complete reports summarizing reworks, waste, and input data into quality databases.
  • Create quality documents such as Work Procedure Instructions (WPI) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Train operators and assemblers on quality procedures and maintain training records.
  • Administer Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes.
  • Set up check sheets, Excel files, or databases to collect and analyze data.
  • Ensure equipment is used safely and is properly maintained, including calibrating measurement tools and scheduling repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications :
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3 years of experience as a quality technician in a manufacturing environment.
Behavioral Skills :
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
