Position Overview:
The Operations and Business Unit Director is accountable for overall business outcomes, including financial performance (Profit and Loss), achieving annual targets, and driving the growth and value of a diverse business portfolio. This role involves leading a multi-functional team (spanning sales, operations, engineering, and quality), generating new business, preparing proposals, securing orders, managing financial responsibilities, nurturing customer relationships, formulating the annual business strategy, and overseeing operational activities to meet customer service and cost efficiency goals. Additional duties include contract negotiations and other leadership responsibilities.
Key Focus:
This role emphasizes the creation and enhancement of value. The Operations and Business Unit Director will meticulously focus on value-driven pricing strategies, continuous cost reduction initiatives, and identifying new and profitable business opportunities. Leadership includes guiding a team of sales professionals toward these objectives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required (a technical degree is advantageous).
- MBA is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience with progressive responsibilities.
- Comprehensive business knowledge across sales, engineering, finance, and operations.
- Experience in industrial sectors is essential.
- Proven management experience with direct reports.
- Track record of delivering results in previous roles.

- Must have authorization to work in the United States.
- Applicants must comply with U.S. export control regulations and be eligible for necessary U.S. Government authorizations.
- If applicable, you must meet eligibility requirements to serve as an Empowered Official under ITAR regulations.
