Well-established manufacturer in the Capital Region is looking for an Engineering Production Supervisor to help with day to day operations, developing and implementing manufacturing processes, and production control. Responsibilities would include:
- Developing and implementing effective, safe, and cost efficient manufacturing processes
- Actively involved in managing continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with the companies EH&S to ensure safe and compliant operations
- Work closely with the maintenance department on preventative maintenance programs, equipment repair, and replacement
- Overseeing floor layout and setting up new production lines
- Managing Engineering and Production employees; ensuring proper training and development
- Working with Senior Management on capital projects
Candidate profile should include:
- Bachelors in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- 5 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Staff supervision; experience overseeing technical professionals
- Excellent organizational and communicative skills
