Aerospace/aviation experience is not required. Job applicants must be mechanically inclined and have related mechanical experience or technical schooling. FAA / DOT drug testing is required (both pre-employment and random). Normal workdays are 6:30 AM to 3 PM daily (40 hr work week), with overtime.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute aircraft and aviation maintenance within timelines established by customer, FAA and company quality standards.
- Test and repair aircraft components in accordance with company provided data (manuals, drawings, procedures, etc.) and company provided training.
- Assemble and disassemble various components of aircraft during repairs and maintenance.
- Adjust, align and calibrate components using hand tools, gauges, etc.
- Ensure compliance with FAA and company standards.
- Maintain orderly work area that is clean and safe.
- Resolve complex technical problems and troubleshoot unusual repairs.
- Perform compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations.
- Use, maintain and store company-provided tools and equipment in safe and proper manner.
- Ability and desire to learn the Aerospace Industry
- Automotive, HVAC and/or Mechanical or Electrical knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Must work well in team environment with multiple priorities
