Nesco Resource is partnering with a relocation services company in Hauppauge, NY to hire a Business Development Specialist to join their team. This is a unique opportunity for an individual with a background in sales or service. Willing to train.
What you need to know:
Salary Range: $50,000-$55,000 annual salary commission
Schedule: Monday through Friday, occasional weekends
Must have own vehicle to visit clients within the tri-state area (mileage reimbursement)
Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture existing accounts while identifying and establishing new accounts through strategic daily planning and organization.
- Deliver clear and compelling presentations of our services and pricing to potential and existing clients.
- Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities by gathering and analyzing current marketplace information.
- Address and resolve customer complaints by investigating issues and developing effective solutions.
- Proactively seek out and build new client relationships through cold-calling, networking, and referrals.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and sales records within our CRM system.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a customer-first approach to sales.
- Strong negotiation skills and proven experience in closing deals effectively.
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
- High level of ownership, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
