It’s a new year with new leadership at Nesco Resource, one of the country’s largest national workforce solutions companies. Proudly, all three individuals come from within Nesco and its affiliates, boasting 22 years of collective service to the family-founded business.   

Michael McDonald, Donna Snyder, and Thomas Quail have taken the helm of Nesco’s Finance, Talent Development, and Legal/Human Resources departments, respectively.

Michael McDonald, Executive Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer 
Michael McDonald, who previously served as Senior Vice President of Finance for Nesco Resource’s parent company, Nesco Inc., was named Nesco’s Executive Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer. In this new role, he will be responsible for all Nesco’s financial functions including accounting, audit, treasury, corporate finance, and due diligence.  

McDonald’s career spans more than 30 years of varied national and international experience in financial management, business leadership, corporate strategy, and mergers and acquisitions. For the last 10 years, he served as the senior financial executive with Nesco Inc. where he managed the finances and top financial leaders of Nesco’s manufacturing locations and Nesco Resource. Prior to Nesco, he spent 23 years with The Fairchild Corporation, a former NYSE-listed International Holding Company, including serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for six years. 

He succeeds Paul Harold, Nesco’s Chief Financial Officer, who will retire on April 30, 2023. Harold celebrates a storied 43-year career, including 34 years with Nesco. He will continue to work in an advisory role for Nesco after his retirement. 

Donna Snyder, Executive Vice President of Talent Development 
Donna Snyder, who previously served as Nesco’s Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness, was named Executive Vice President of Talent Development. In this new role, she will oversee Nesco’s Training and Field Enablement, Leadership Assessment, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion departments. 

Snyder joined Nesco in 2017 as Director of Talent Acquisition and was responsible for creating the department and its function. She also served as Nesco’s Vice President of Executive Search & Assessment and Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness. Snyder brings more than 27 years of talent acquisition and assessment experience to the role, spanning staffing, recruitment process outsourcing, consulting, executive search, and corporate experience. She is a certified coach and practitioner in the Hogan Assessment, CCL Benchmarks Assessment Suite 360, and The Predictive Index. 

Thomas Quail, Chief Legal Officer 
Thomas (Tom) Quail, who previously served as Nesco’s Senior Vice President of Risk & Safety and General Counsel, was named Chief Legal Officer. In this newly created role, Quail will oversee the following groups:Risk & Insurance, Safety, Workers’ Compensation, Legal, Human Resources & Benefits, and Compliance 

Since joining Nesco Resource in 2016, he has made drastic improvements to Nesco’s Risk, Safety, Insurance, and Legal programs, ultimately saving the company money and reducing overall risk to the business. He has more than 20 years of legal experience, with 12 of those years spent in legal, insurance, and risk management for staffing.
