Banking Services Administrator

Location: Memphis, TN (Onsite – 100% In Office)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM CST
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (Credit screening required)


Position Summary

The Banking Services Administrator is responsible for administering banking services for clients and local offices. This role ensures accurate processing of stop payments, void entries, deposit documentation, and cleared check confirmations while maintaining strict adherence to deadlines and internal quality standards.

This is a fully onsite position requiring strong organizational skills, analytical ability, and daily collaboration within an open-floor team environment.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Issue stop payments using bank software.

  • Enter void transactions into the claims management system.

  • Complete bank deposit tickets, endorse checks, and mail deposits to the bank.

  • Make copies of checks for deposit and attach to appropriate documentation.

  • Confirm check clearances with banking institutions for local offices.

  • Provide cleared check copies to clients and local offices upon request.

  • Support organizational quality programs.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting or a related field
    (Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.)

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Residency Requirement

  • Must reside in Memphis, TN or surrounding area.

Additional Requirements

  • Must pass credit screening.

  • Ability to work 100% onsite.

  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, open-floor office environment with daily deadlines.


Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including:

    • Pivot tables

    • VLOOKUP

    • IF formulas

    • Charts

    • Mathematical functions (SUM, AVERAGE, etc.)

  • SAP knowledge strongly preferred.

  • PC literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Professional Skills

  • Strong analytical and data analysis capabilities.

  • Excellent organizational and file management skills.

  • Strong time management skills (daily deadline-driven environment).

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
