We are seeking a dedicated professional to monitor and optimize the production of assigned wells. This role involves ensuring the secure and environmentally safe operation of all wells and leases under your responsibility.

  • Gauge production on assigned wells, report gauge readings, downtime, and other well information.
  • Perform lease maintenance, including minor surface pump and production equipment repairs and adjustments.
  • Identify issues and recommend actions to decrease costs and increase production.
  • Assist in witnessing meter calibrations, monitor rates and pressures on injection and disposal wells, make necessary adjustments, monitor chemical use, and test safety systems daily to maximize production.
  • Operate and maintain various equipment associated with well production, including wellheads, pumping units, separators, burners, and more.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Eligibility to drive a company vehicle.
  • Satisfactory background check and drug screen.
  • Working knowledge of safe oil and gas production operations.
  • Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations, good mechanical aptitude, writing skills, and a good safety and driving record.
  • Dependability and ability to work overtime if necessary.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Awareness of cost metrics and analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of downhole operations, failure analysis, and best practices.
  • Working knowledge of facility construction practices and standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and initiative on team tasks.
  • Interest in engineering principles and understanding of subsurface and surface equipment and operations.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
