Shipping Clerk – Manufacturing | $22-24/hr

A manufacturing company in Tulsa is seeking a highly organized Shipping Clerk with strong experience in LTL, FTL, and hotshot shipments. This role demands accuracy, urgency, and the ability to manage fast-moving shipping schedules without errors. Work Schedule & Pay
- Full-time, Monday–Friday or Monday-Thursday
- Hours may align to typical manufacturing schedule (e.g., 5 am-3:30pm, 7:30 am-4:30 pm)
- Pay: $22-24/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate LTL, FTL, and hotshot outbound shipments with carriers and trucking partners
- Prepare all shipping documentation (BOLs, packing lists, labels, freight info) with zero tolerance for errors
- Verify product counts, packaging requirements, and shipment accuracy before release
- Maintain daily shipping logs and update ERP or shipping systems
- Communicate with production, warehouse, and customer service to meet delivery timelines
- Assist with freight quotes, scheduling pickups, and tracking in-transit shipments
- Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and proper material movement entries
- Ensure shipping area stays organized, compliant, and audit-ready
Required Qualifications
- Experience handling LTL, FTL, and hotshot shipments — non-negotiable
- Prior manufacturing shipping/receiving experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy under time pressure
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Basic understanding of ERP or shipping systems
- Ability to lift 30–50 lbs as needed
- Reliable, accountable, and comfortable communicating with carriers
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Familiarity with carrier portals and freight quoting tools
- Experience with international shipping or export documents
- Forklift certification
- Strong Excel competency (VLOOKUP, basic formulas)
