Job Summary
Nesco Resource is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations by learning and assisting with various tasks related to inventory management, materials handling, product production, product packaging, and order fulfillment. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and quality while working to fulfill warehousing and production needs.
Mon thru Friday 8am to 5pm
$17.00 per hour
Duties
- Operate forklifts, and pallet trucks throughout the warehouse.
- Perform order picking and packing duties accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in producing and packaging products as required for shipping or storage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper techniques are used for lifting and transporting goods.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 60 lbs. safely.
Skills
- Must be willing and able to operate forklifts and pallet trucks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.
- Ability to perform order picking with attention to detail for accuracy in fulfilling customer orders.
- Familiarity with materials handling best practices to ensure safety and efficiency in the workplace.
- Excellent teamwork skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across various departments.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
