Reports To: Production Supervisor
Job Duties:
- Responsibilities include but not limited to set-up, load and operate a GCN Machine.
- Load and unload pre-shot machine.
- Dumping trays into baskets.
- Lifting, stacking, and emptying of trays into GCN baskets.
- Operate/ trouble-shoot overhead crane.
- Empting GCN baskets.
- Measuring critical dimensions of the springs during mass production and recording results at specified intervals
- Trouble shooting machine and or springs when a problem arises.
- Continuous training and education to keep skills current.
- Operate a manual lift cart
Required Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Required Experience
- Some knowledge or experience in other areas of factory operation would be beneficial, but not a must.
Required Skills
1. Mechanical ability is a must.
- Strong math and communication skills along with experience with calipers and blue prints are a plus but not required.
- Equivalent combination of aptitude, education certification and or experienced body of knowledge that will meet our requirements.
- Job also requires great book keeping skills and a willingness to work.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform strenuous physical activities, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), prolonged standing, walking, and climbing.
- Capable of repetitive motions and sustained physical exertion for extended periods.
- Ability to work in challenging environmental conditions, such as extreme heat, cold, or outdoor settings.
- Must have good stamina, strength, and endurance to complete physically demanding tasks regularly.
- Ability to handle and operate heavy or specialized equipment safely.
- May require frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
