ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Machine Operator: The Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment to manufacture high-quality roofing products
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Operate and monitor production machinery according to company procedures and safety guidelines.
Set up machines, adjust settings, and perform changeovers as needed
Good communication skills and ability to read, speak, write English (bilingual Spanish helpful)
Ability to observe, identify, deduce and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
Quick learner and ability to work under minimal supervision
Math skills and computer skills
Ability to attention to details
Must be flexible for 10-12hr shifts on nights
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
1 year Prior manufacturing and production worker experience
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee should possess the ability to:
Be exposed to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable
Withstand exposure to temperature extremes inside or out
Prolong standing or in stationary position
Complete repetitive movements
Bend and/or twist, Lift/move/transport items up to 50 pounds
Ability to move or traverse about the facilities
Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions
Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hard hat protection)
Must be able to follow attendance policy and production requirements
