Nesco Resource is looking for a Receiving Clerk located in New Milford, CT. This is temporary assignment. Duration of this position will last between1-3 months. Potential for permanent position depending on assignment.
Shift: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM (OT Possible)
Pay: $16.94-$21/hour depending on Experience
Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to support inventory accuracy and stockroom operations. This role is responsible for receiving, labeling, storing, and issuing materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and an organized, secure stockroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, count, and enter materials and finished goods into the system
- Label, store, and organize incoming inventory in designated locations
- Pack, unpack, and distribute materials, parts, and kits to internal departments
- Maintain accurate inventory records, cycle counts, and assist with physical inventories
- Investigate and resolve quantity discrepancies with production and inspection teams
- Keep stockroom, tools, and storage areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Assist other stockroom and production personnel as needed
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 1 year of inventory, receiving, or stockroom experience in a manufacturing environment
- Basic computer skills and experience using inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet most of the day
- Forklift experience is a plus
