Sit-Down Forklift Operator (Short-Term Project)
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator to support a short-term manufacturing project. This role involves safely operating a sit-down forklift to move raw materials, finished goods, and pallets throughout the facility while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a sit-down forklift to load, unload, move, and stage materials.
- Transport raw materials and finished products to designated areas.
- Support production and shipping/receiving operations as needed.
- Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Ensure materials are handled safely to prevent damage or loss.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with general warehouse or production tasks when not operating the forklift.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
