Key Responsibilities
• Documentation Creation: Develop and improve work instructions, standard operating procedures, troubleshooting guides, and job aids.
• Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts, engineers, and operations gather information and ensure accuracy in documentation.
• Research: Investigate and analyze technical information from various sources to create comprehensive documentation that meets user needs.
• Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit documentation for clarity, consistency, and adherence to company style guidelines.
• Basic Project Management: Manage documentation projects, including planning, scheduling, and tracking progress to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in English, communication, technical writing, engineering, or science fields. (minimum required)
• 3 years of technical writing experience, manufacturing environment experience preferred
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams). PTC Windchill system experience is a plus.
• Ability to understand technical processes being documented. Optics knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all documentation produced.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, adapting to changing project requirements and deadlines.
