Job Summary
Ink Specialist responsibility is to work under direct supervision, provide color matching, formulating, and small batch blending supporting the Printing department.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and helps prepare ink requirement for presses.
- Formulates, blends and quality controls inks per the customer requirement.
- Manage and maintains on hand inventory, ordering additional inventory, entering into the system, and completing month-end inventory on raw materials.
- Stages as well as returns inks from press to returns area.
- Performs press-side color matching and troubleshooting when required. Establishes ink room color cert standards and entering the digital standards.
- Assist in unloading of incoming materials from shipment truck.
- Supports customer ink trials.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree or Technical Degree or certification preferred
Manufacturing Degree
Experience in Flexible packing process as an ink technician
