A well-known manufacturing company here in Albany County is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their team!
What you need to know:
- Location: Latham, NY
- Pay: $52,000-58,000
- Hours: M-F 8am-5PM
- Direct Hire
- Follow up on, collect and allocate payments.
- Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities
- Review banking statements to assure wires, ACH, and checks were received
- Prepare journal entries for cash application to the proper accounts
- Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end close
- Monitor customer accounts details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
- Assist the credit department with any customer related issues
- Bachelors or Associates Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable or Billing positions
- Strong MS Office skills including Excel; any experience with an ERP system would be welcomed
