Job Title: CDL A Driver – Local Deliveries
Location: Rochester, NY
Summary: Nesco Resource is seeking a CDL A Driver for a local delivery position based in Rochester. This Direct Hire role offers stability, consistent Monday–Friday scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a safety-focused team. Ideal candidates will have a Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement and a minimum of 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience. Pay Rate:
- $24.00 – $25.00/Hour (Based On Exp.)
Shift:
- Monday – Friday | 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- Optional overtime available
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a straight truck for local deliveries
- Ensure all loads are properly secured and transported according to safety regulations
- Complete required daily logs, pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and report any incidents or equipment issues
- Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL A license with HazMat endorsement
- At least 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record and strong attention to safety
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
- Dependable and punctual
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, reach, and bend throughout the shift
- Requires good vision and hearing for safe operation and communication
