Location: Mayfield Heights, OH
Hours: Monday – Friday | 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
Pay Rate: $20–$25 per hour $1.50 shift differential
Position Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their logistics or shipping career — including recent college graduates — looking to gain hands-on experience in routing, manifesting, e-commerce fulfillment, and transportation coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily truck routing and scheduling using routing software.
- Create and verify delivery manifests to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure routes align with delivery priorities and service commitments.
- Adjust routes as needed based on operational changes or urgent customer requirements.
- Respond to delivery status requests from Sales and Branch teams.
- Provide accurate shipment tracking and proof-of-delivery updates.
- Communicate proactively regarding delays, route changes, or service issues.
- Escalate recurring operational issues or inefficiencies to leadership.
- Coordinate and prepare e-commerce orders for shipments
- Independently process and generate FedEx shipments.
- Ensure parcel documentation and labeling accuracy.
- Utilize ERP system to verify orders and shipment details.
- Support reporting initiatives using Microsoft Excel.
- Communicate professionally using Microsoft Outlook.
- High school diploma required
- 1–3 years of logistics, shipping, warehouse, or supply chain experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook required.
- Experience with ERP systems or routing software is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
