Lead Injection Mold Operator
Location: Willoughby, OH
Pay Rate: Base Pay of $17-$19/hr while in training. After training is completed you will receive a $1.50 increase for being a Lead, and a $2.50 shift differential for 2nd shift bringing your pay to $21-$23/hour.
Shifts: 2nd shift 330pm-11:30pm, must be available to train on 1st shift for up to 3 months (7am-330pm)
Responsibilities:
- Operate ceramic injection molding machines according to specifications.
- Monitor the molding process to ensure consistent quality and output.
- Inspect finished parts for defects and maintain documentation of production.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with production team to meet daily output and quality targets.
- Oversee job assignments and work performance of the other injection mold operators on 2nd shift.
- Training of new employees.
- Prior experience in injection molding or working with ceramic materials required.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, technical drawings, and process instructions.
- Previous experience with a leadership role.
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus.
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening
