About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Operator to join a manufacturing team at a corporate production facility. This role is responsible for operating and monitoring specialized production equipment to ensure consistent quality. The ideal candidate values craftsmanship, precision, and thrives in a structured production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, monitor, and adjust production equipment to maintain quality and consistency standards
- Prepare and process product blends according to established formulas and specifications
- Transfer finished product to downstream production areas, including packaging and processing stations
- Perform quality checks using analysis tools and measurement equipment
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), OSHA safety standards, and applicable regulations
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to support continuous improvement efforts
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support production operations
Preferred Experience:
- Experience operating thermal processing or specialty production equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in specialty, craft, or small-batch production settings
- Background in craft-related industries such as brewing, baking, culinary production, or similar fields
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in food manufacturing or production warehouse environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to visually inspect products for quality
- Ability to follow established procedures, formulas, and production standards
- Strong interest in production quality and process consistency
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, adaptable, and flexible to meet production demands
- Willingness to work early mornings and occasional weekends
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Bending, stooping, climbing, and repetitive movements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Work in elevated temperatures due to production equipment
- Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Performance of repetitive or sequential tasks
