Nesco Resource is looking for a PCB Inspector located in Brookfield, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Shift: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM (OT possible after training cycle)

Pay: $20-$22 Based on Experience

Position Summary: The PCB Inspector is responsible for performing first article, in-process, and final inspections of printed circuit board assemblies to ensure products meet customer specifications and applicable quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections of printed circuit boards (PCBs)
  • Conduct solderability and workmanship inspections in accordance with quality standards
  • Inspect assemblies to ensure compliance with customer specifications and IPC-A-610 requirements
  • Document and report non-conformances and route products for rework or repair as needed
  • Follow work instructions, travelers, and customer documentation
  • Support production schedules through timely and accurate inspection practices
  • Work with production and other departments to ensure quality and delivery requirements are met
  • Participate in internal and external audits and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Identify process issues and recommend improvements
  • Communicate equipment maintenance needs as required
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience as a PCB Inspector or three (3) years experience as a PCB Assembler (hand, SMT, or through-hole)
  • Strong ability to identify defects and non-conformances against customer and IPC-A-610 standards
  • Knowledge of SMT, through-hole, and hand assembly methods
  • Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards (certification a plus)
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and customer documentation
  • Ability to identify electronic components
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
  • Ability to stand, sit, and move throughout the day and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Ability to use hand tools, measuring devices, and inspection equipment, including magnification aids
